When watching Japanese dramas, you often hear the main character shout “ただいま (TADAIMA)” when returning home, which means “I’m back.” It turns out that “TADAIMA” can be written in kanji as “唯今,” which means “now.”

“The only moment we can grasp is the present.” Living in this era, I think we all deeply feel this. Thus, we decided to use the warm-sounding name “唯今” for our store.

As for our logo, it is composed of a sake bottle and a coffee cup, forming the character for “now” (今); whether it’s coffee or sake, the experience of being awake or inebriated is up to the individual, but in this moment, we forget our worries. Thank you to the designer for such a simple yet meaningful design.

Our little shop, 唯今, will always welcome everyone back. Welcome home! おかえり!
